How are voided transactions accounted for?
When you void a customers' transactions, Perkville marks the original transaction as VOID
and then creates a second VOID_REF
transaction to offset the original points that were redeemed or earned.
If you are voiding a redemption, this means that the original transaction is recorded as a debit, say -250 points. The void reference transaction would then be counted as a credit or 250 points.
