# How can I create a manual referral reward for a specific customer?

You can create a referral by following these steps:

2. **Submit Referral:** On the customer's profile page, locate and click on the "Submit referral" button near the top of the screen.

   1. If this referred person HAS NOT earned points at your business already, then the referral will be not be completed immediately.
