Twitter (X)

You can set up Twitter earning rules that reward customers for interacting with your business on Twitter. However, it's important to note that these features will be phased out soon due to upcoming changes in Twitter's terms of service, which prohibit incentivizing Twitter activities. Here's how to implement and manage these rules while they are still available:

Types of Twitter earning rules:

  1. Reward for following on Twitter:

    • Setup: Use the same method as adding a custom earning rule. Navigate to "Reward Program" in your dashboard, select "Earning Activities," and click the "+" icon. Choose the option for rewarding Twitter follows.

    • Points assignment: Specify the number of points customers will earn by following your business on Twitter. Customers must follow your business directly from the Perkville user interface to receive their points.

  2. Reward for Tweeting about your business:

    • Setup: Follow the same initial steps as for the Twitter follow rule. When choosing the type of Twitter rule, select the option for rewarding tweets about your business.

    • Points assignment: Determine the number of points customers will earn for tweeting about your business. Customers must first connect their Twitter account to Perkville and tweet directly from the platform. Points for tweeting can be awarded a maximum of once per day.

    • Eligibility: Customers are eligible to tweet about your business after they have earned points at your establishment, ensuring that those promoting your brand have genuine experiences with your products or services.
