Ad-hoc points, redemptions, and adjustments

Businesses can adjust points for customers to account for various situations, such as correcting errors, applying special points, or awarding a one-off reward. Follow the steps below:

  1. Access the Customer Profile

  2. Initiate a point adjustment:

    • To add points to the customer’s balance, click on the "Give points" button.

    • To remove points from the customer’s balance, click on the "Redeem points" button.

  3. In the modal that appears, select the appropriate option. If you want to make an adjustment, click "Point adjustment."

    • If giving a point adjustment, write a note to describe the reason for the adjustment. Please note that this description will be visible to the customer in their point earning history.

Reminder: Choosing a redemption option will not trigger any actual transfer of goods. It merely deducts the number of points and records that the redemption occurred.

Reminder: The ability to give or redeem points for a customer is dependent on the staff member’s role. Find the right person at your business who has these permissions if you do not.
