Perkville email subscription status
Perkville allows business staff to manage a customer's email notification preferences directly from their customer profile. This feature gives businesses the ability to update customer notification settings when requested, ensuring the customer only receives the communications they want.
Steps to Manage a Customer’s Email Notifications
Navigate to the Customer’s Profile:
From the Perkville Dashboard, search for the customer by their name or email address.
Click on the customer’s name to open their profile.
Locate the "Perkville Email Subscription Status" Section:
On the right-hand side of the customer profile page, find the section titled "Perkville email subscription status".
Update Email Preferences:
Click on the pencil icon next to the "Perkville email subscription status" to edit the customer's email preferences.
The following email preferences can be updated:
Receive real-time point notification emails: Notify the customer immediately when they earn points.
Receive a weekly point summary email: Send a summary of the customer's points activity at the end of each week.
Receive email invites to challenges: Send invitations to the customer for any challenges they are eligible to join.
Receive real-time progress emails for joined challenges: Notify the customer of their progress in any challenges they have joined.
Unsubscribe from emails sent from Perkville: This will prevent any of the above emails from being sent to the customer.
Save Changes:
After updating the settings, click Save to apply the changes to the customer’s profile.
Important Considerations
Unsubscribe from Emails Sent from Perkville:
If this setting is toggled on, it will prevent any of the other email notifications from being sent to the customer. This option is useful if a customer no longer wishes to receive any Perkville emails.
Email Settings Across All Connected Businesses:
Updating a customer’s email preferences in one business profile will automatically update these settings across all businesses the customer is connected to. This ensures consistent communication preferences regardless of which business they interact with within Perkville.
