Answering "How can I deactivate my Perkville points account?"

This page applies to end users of the Perkville platform who wish to deactivate their rewards account.

Users can deactivate a loyalty program on their own using the following steps:

  1. Log into Perkville

  2. Navigate to Settings in the upper right corner.

  3. Click on Businesses.

  4. Click on the radio button marked Disconnected next to any business, then click Save.

This will cause the user to no longer earn points at that business, and they will not be sent emails. Points lost during this time will not be rewarded later.

Users can also choose to close their Perkville account by navigating to Settings, Profile, then scrolling down and clicking "Close my Perkville account." This step cannot be reversed by Perkville Support. However, business staff members can reactivate closed Perkville accounts under certain circumstances. See this guide.

Note: Typically, most users just want to receive fewer emails. Any user manage the rate and type of emails they receive by following this guide.
