Reversing a user's Perkville account closure

This page describes how to reverse a user's Perkville account closure, under certain circumstances.

Users are able to close their Perkville account. This cannot be reversed by Perkville Support, which is explained in a dialog box that appears on that page.

Users who have closed their Perkville account will show "Inactive (Closed by user)" next to "Perkville status".

However, a user may ask to undo their closure. This can be done by Business staff members, only under these circumstances:

  • The user must have had an active connection only to your business, and not any other business.

  • The user must not be a staff member at any other business.

If these circumstances are true, a "Re-activate" link will appear next to "Inactive (Closed by user)". Click this link, read the advisory and confirm to reactivate the user's account.

Perkville Staff cannot give back points that would have been awarded during the period the user's account was closed. However, Business staff members can give point adjustments if desired.
